Eleni Chrysostomides is one of the firm’s Senior Partners and one of its co-founders.
She is a specialist in matters of Intellectual Property law and heads the firm’s IP Department, comprising of a team of lawyers and IP consultants, specialising in all aspects of Trade Marks, Patents, Copyright and Designs.
Eleni has published numerous legal works both in Cyprus and in international legal journals, especially on Intellectual Property Law and practice in Cyprus (Author: "Infringement of Trade Mark under Cyprus Law," 1990). She has taken part in a number of seminars and conferences organised by international organisations, including the International Bar Association (IBA), the Institute of Trade Mark Agents (ITMA), the International Trade Mark Association (INTA) and the Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group (PTMG). She has participated as a speaker in several of these conferences.
She served as Honorary Consul of Canada in Cyprus from 1999 to 2010, when she voluntarily decided to step down from the post, due to time constraints. During this term, she was awarded the ''Minister's Citation for Foreign Policy Excellence", which was presented to her "in recognition of an Outstanding Contribution" by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Canada.
She is recommended as a 'Leading Lawyer' for Intellectual Property in the 2016 edition of Legal 500 EMEA. |
