Anna Rossides is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Department of the firm. She has significant experience in multi-million IPO transactions on unregulated markets (such as AIM) and foreign stock exchanges (including on the LSE, Toronto SE and Frankfurt SE). The portfolio of her clients involved in such transactions, are primarily active in the mining, agriculture or real estate sectors of the international market. She is included among the Leading Lawyers in the 2014 Edition of IFLR1000 for the practice areas of Capital Markets and Competition.
She was also recently involved in complex multi- million Euro transactions concerning the issuance of loan notes and GDRs, by a Cypriot public company, to international investors and their listing on the LSE. Her knowledge and expertise also extends to corporate and secured financing transactions, something that she has gained substantial experience in over the past 10 years. Partner Anna Rossides is particularly known for her strong expertise in the area of Competition law; frequently advising prestigious clients in diverse industries on challenging competition and antitrust matters, including those related to mergers & acquisitions and representing corporate clients before the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competition. She is repeatedly included among the world’s leading lawyers in both the International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers and in IFLR1000. Two noteworthy cases in which her competition law expertise was recently required include the multi-million Euro joint acquisitions of FSIA Investimenti S.r.l by FSI Investimenti S.p.A and Poste Italiane S.p.A and of AC Boilers S.p.A. by Ansaldo Energia S.p.A (a company that is jointly controlled by the Italian CDP Group and the Chinese Shangai Electric Group). |
